Bosch Group, a supplier in technology and services has launched its local invoicing in Ghana.

The group, which set up an office in the country in 2015 has defined Ghana as the hub for its Automotive Aftermarket division across West and Central Africa, covering a total of 19 countries.

According to the Managing Director for Bosch Ghana, Benji Ofori , the invoicing to its Ghanaian customers will be in Cedi whilst the rest if the African region will be done in Euros.

Bosch produces spare parts diagnostics solutions and services to maintain & repair vehicles.

Mr. Benji Ofori believes the country will also benefit immensely through the taxes due to the new development.

“So if you have other organizations that are invoicing, then basically people pay directly into those countries. All our dealers and all our partners are paying directly into Ghana. So everything that comes into our coffers will be declared as revenue from Ghana and we pay taxes on it”.

“So VAT on all the sales we do from here will definitely be paid to the government. Now we understand we are going to pay a fixed NHIL, and GetFund of total of about 5% to government. So it means that invariably, if you look at the volume of business we do here we are paying a lot more money to government going forward” he stated
