Sheffield-based fitness business TRIB3 has launched its first boutique style gym in Moscow.

The Moscow franchise is being headed by Alexei Drobot, former CEO of World Class Clubs - Russian’s number one fitness operator -and also the ex-general manager of TUI Travel and Johnson&Johnson in Russia.

He was looking to bring the HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) boutique concept to Russia and had explored several major UK and US brands before meeting TRIB3 CEO Kevin Yates, who was recommended by several UK fitness gurus.

Mr Drobot is joined by managing partner Igor Guiduk, national champion in military MMA and combat Sambo as well as a former World Class elite PT.

The Moscow club is located at a premium business district of Lesnaya Street, just a 10 minute drive from Red Square and its neighbours include top international companies including PWC, McKinsey and LG Electronics.

All the trainers are top industry professionals from existing premium clubs, who went through a rigorous selection process to re-train to TRIB3 class standards and to develop a full knowledge of the TRIB3 MyZone system support.

The first club will operate for three to six months to fine tune the concept to local specifics and will then be rolled out across Russia, through a combination of own or sub-franchised clubs.
