The 10U, 11U and 12U Ahwatukee All Stars teams gathered for a group photo recently. They begin District 13 tournament play on June 23.

Three Ahwatukee All Star Little League teams are preparing for their next stretch of games that could put them on their way to Pennsylvania for the World Series.

That long road starts June 23-July 3 with the District 13 Tournaments for 10U, 11U, and 12U teams at Snedigar  Sports Complex, 4500 S. Basha Road, Chandler. The Juniors All-Stars will take the field from June 16 through June 19 at Nozomi Park, 250 S Kyrene Rd, Chandler.

“We invite the community to rally behind our young athletes and show their support by attending the upcoming games,” said Ahwatukee Little League spokeswoman Tianna Chavez.

Before they take to the field, the All Stars were giving  back to the community like the community has given to them in support while also participating in some tasty bond-building at Nello’s Ahwatukee.

On June 13, the 10U, 11U, and 12U teams enjoyed a pizza-making team bonding day at Nello’s and on June 16 team members were volunteering for a food-packing event volunteer day at Feed My Starving Children in Tempe.

The All Stars in all three age brackets represent the best players from the Ahwatukee Little League Teams that slugged it out earlier this year in local play.

Chavez said their “hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship throughout the season have truly set (them)  apart.”

She noted, “Earning a spot on an All-Star team is a significant accomplishment, and we’re thrilled to celebrate this achievement.”

She also thanked all 300 kids who turned out this season to play.

“The level of talent and heart across our league has been incredible, and we’re so proud of this community,” she said.

The All-Stars teams will now go on to represent Ahwatukee in tournament play and Chavez urged residents to come out to the games to “show them our support as they compete with hometown pride, teamwork, and passion.”

Here are the rosters for the three Ahwatukee All Star teams:
