The trial for a Maine man accused of scaring a woman to death has been postponed.
Police said Connie Loucks, 62, suffered a fatal cardiac event in March 2015 after a burglary at her home on Wire Road in Wells.
Carlton Young is accused of breaking into Loucks' home and causing her death.
The trial was set to begin Monday, but was continued.
At the time, state police said Young was part of a burglary ring that had been stealing jewelry and electronics to buy heroin.
A person can be charged with felony murder when committing a felony and death occurs, no matter what the intent is. In 2016, a grand jury indicted Young on felony murder charges.
Prosecutors said Loucks had a pre-existing heart condition.
