Ultra awarded contracts worth £26m

Ultra Electronics is pleased to announce two contract awards.

The Group's Communication & Integrated Systems (CIS) business, based in Greenford, UK, has been awarded a UK contract valued at £16.6 million to support the provision of advanced surveillance capability until 2019. The Group will also provide specialist support over the course of the system's use.

Ultra's Precision Control Systems (PCS) business, based in Cheltenham, UK, has been awarded a contract valued at £9 million from defence and security company Saab of Sweden. Under this contract, PCS will supply its world-leading HiPPAG airborne compressor system solution for the new Gripen E/F fighter aircraft. Saab has been awarded contracts by the Swedish and Brazilian air forces and is well positioned to win further export contracts. Due to commercial and security considerations, no further information can be provided in relation to this award.
